Business Development Sr. Specialist/Manager Publisher Acquisition (Mumbai, India) is changing the way digital content publishers look at their ad revenue data and make business decisions. We are seeking for a well connected Publisher Growth/Acquisition expert to handle acquiring new digital content publishers in the US region. The candidate will join our team remotely [till normal office re-opens] and should have at least 5-10 years of experience in online media, publisher management, SAAS sales, agency sales, and content recommendation platforms.

  • You are a data-driven digital marketer with basic knowledge of RTB/Programmatic Display (Mobile and Desktop, SiteScout, The Trade Desk, Google Display Network) Native Advertising(Revcontent, and Paid Social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  • You enjoy Publisher Recruitment and Management - willing and able to proactively recruit new publishers on an ongoing basis to drive growth and optimize delivery and campaign performance.

  • Prospect and define growth markets and new verticals focusing on. Prospect, acquire and grow relationships with SMB Digital content publishers in the US market.
  • Handle and follow up with all kinds of leads, incoming and by prospect.
  • Share market/publisher insights & work closely with the Product & Account management team to develop strategies, pre-sale proposals and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Gather knowledge on the needs of the publishers/marketplace landscape, and offer our prospects the best opportunity for new revenue & performance enhancement.
  • Manage the relationship with external partners and successfully close long term partnerships.
  • Maintain and expand your network of CEOs, CMOs, CTOs and other relevant stakeholders within the publisher market.
  • Hand over to Key Account Managers and advise in the onboarding of new clients
  • Monitor publisher performance on a day to day basis, and liaise with the Account Management team to deliver revenue growth to the publishers.
  • Track and manage publisher acquisition pipeline and account activities in Freshsales CRM.
  • Assist with critical requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key publishers.
  • Manage and build relationships with our existing publisher accounts.
  • Enable our publishers to maximize their revenue using’s products and services.
  • Lead day to day communication with Publishers by providing them with assistance with a focus on client retention, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Grow the network further in the US region.
  • Work with the management to launch new ad products.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of online-centric experience in Digital content publisher Acquisition / Management in the US region along with an established network within the digital content publishing domain.
  • 5+ years of experience selling SAAS solutions.
  • Experience in building relationships with both internal and external business partners.
  • Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to creatively and strategically sell, with strong analytical and project management skills with experience in reporting as well as presenting data to the management team and stakeholders
  • Excellent client service and presentational skills, and strong negotiation.
